Quito colonial town has been declared National Cultural Patrimony by UNESCO and it has been conserved and preserved since then, becoming the best colonial town of Latin America. Due to its size, you can visit the small streets, learn about the history of the city, visit the plazas and churches that have amazing decorations and religious art. This walking tour takes you around Quito with a specialized guide.

Your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel and take you to colonial town, where plazas and streets take you back to colonial times.

This tour is more enjoyable by walking through the streets, to visit the Independence Plaza surrounded by the President’s Palace, the Cathedral and the Municipality.  You continue the visit to La Compañia church, and then the visit another special plaza called San Francisco, an ancient Monastery,  with its famous church which is part of the traditional legends of Quito.

Your walk continues through narrow stone-streets that take you to this special neighbourhood, called La Ronda, where all little houses have become small souvenir stores, restaurants, bars and cafés.

The tour ends with a visit of the Panecillo Hill, where the great Virgin of Quito guards the city or Itchimbia park from where you can have wonderful views of the city. Both options have a wonderful view of Quito and its great volcanoes.
