Guayaquil City is the second main city in Ecuador, it has the biggest port. Guayas river goes through the town and is part of the beautiful landscape of this city.

This trip can be done in your free time or between flights, we can take you to the airport, go for a nice trip and return to take your night flight.

Your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel or airport to visit the colonial town of Guayaquil. The first stop is Parque de las Iguanas (Parque Simon Bolivar), this park is known due to the many iguanas living in it and also for its amount of birds visiting and due to its ficus trees, you will also find birds such as flycatchers.

The visit continues to see the Municipal building, the government building and other historic places on the way.  Guayaquil has also a wonderful pier along Guayas river, Malecon 2000, where you can enjoy a short walk.

The Neo-Gothic Cathedral is visited to learn about Guayaquil’s history and also you are able to spot Moorish Tower and Rotonda Monument, the most important place in Guayaquil, that tells the story about the liberation from the Spanish people.

The tour continues to visit Las Peñas, an old but refurbished neighbourhood, with its beautiful colourful houses, some of them are galleries and cafes and we do a stop at Mercado Plaza del Sur.

At the end of this visit, you return to the hotel or back to the airport.
