    The Motor Vessel Origin has been sailing the Galapagos Islands since 2016. This brand new luxury vessel has carefully designed to make the Galapagos expedition a great experience for all guests. The yacht offers comfortable sun deck, dining area and social spaces where guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful environment of the Galapagos Islands. The MV Origin cruise offers two guides for the group, having 10 guests per each guide, therefore the expeditions become very private and personal.

    CUENCA & ITS ARTISANS - ITINERARY

    This morning, you take the road from Cuenca to San Bartolome, this little village is known for the local artisans specialized on making guitars. This work has been done in this village for decades. Your journey continues visiting Chordeleg, the locals are known for creating golden and silver jewellery and also for making pottery crafts.
    Next, to Chordeleg, you visit Gualaceo where you have the opportunity to see the local market, to taste and admire the variety of fruits, vegetables and other goods sold in this little village.
    The road then takes you to visit Bulcay, another village where people dedicate their time on the Ika weaving, it is an ancient tie-dye process for making ponchos and other crafts designed by locals. This weaving technique has been in this town for ages.
    To end this trip with a good closing, your final stop is at Ecuagenera, one of the biggest orchid growing laboratory in Ecuador. Here, you can learn the entire process of how orchids grow and are preserved.
