    Cajas National Park has around 3000 little lakes and lagoons and you can visit few of them

    This wonderful trip is a must do when you visit Cuenca, for those of you who love to hike or be active whilst travelling, this spectacular National Park is ideal. Here you have the opportunity to spot Andean birds and also the chance the visit some of the 3000 lakes and lagoons that this area has. You enjoy wonderful landscapes and have the chance to be in contact with nature.

    CAJAS NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY ITINERARY

    Today your guide picks you up from your hotel in Cuenca and takes the road towards the west of the city, on the way to the Reserve.

    This reserve has more than 3000 lakes and lagoons and about 29,000 hectares. Hikes are very special due to its wonderful landscapes.

    Upon arrival you start the hike to visit some nearby lakes and learn about this special reserve, the hike can take from 1-2 hours, depending on your requirements.

    Lunch will be served in a local restaurant before returning to Cuenca.

     

    Note: This tour can be combined with the visit to Cuenca town, Ingapirca Ruins, or continue the road to Guayaquil city, with additional days. Please fill out the form and let us know what your requirements are.
